The deadline to submit applications for the 2021 ARRL Foundation Scholarship Program is fast approaching. There is still plenty of time to apply—but you must do so by 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time, December 31, 2020. The program is intended to help lower the growing costs of an advanced degree, while rewarding Hams for their involvement in the hobby. And with over one million dollars dished out in scholarship money per year—the rewards can be significant.
The application process is simple. Applicants are required to complete an online application, submit their most recent school transcript (as a PDF), and follow any specific guidelines outlined in the individual scholarship rules. If you’ve already completed the online application, make sure to forward the PDF of your academic transcript and any other required documents to foundation@arrl.org by Monday, January 11. Applications that arrive without the additional required documents (only for scholarships requiring additional materials) will not be considered.
The ARRL will review all applications for eligibility. Award recipients will be notified by email and a letter delivered by the United States Postal Service in May of 2021.
