The folks here at DX Engineering were excited to have official Hamvention spokesperson, Michael Kalter, W8CI, join DX Engineering’s own Tim Duffy, K3LR, at the DX Engineering showroom here in Tallmadge, Ohio on February 28 as a ham host for the announcement of this year’s 2023 Hamvention Award Winners.
This year’s recipients include Jason McDonald MD, N2TPA, earning the Special Achievement Award; the Delaware Valley Radio Association (DVRA), named Amateur Radio Club of the Year; Dr. James Breakall, WA3FET, receiving the Technical Achievement Award; and Carsten Dauer, DM9EE, who not only brought home the title of 2023 Ham of the Year but was kind enough to join us for the broadcast as a special guest!
Read more about this year’s honorees here and be sure to say “congrats” to these ham high achievers if you see them at Dayton Hamvention, May 19-21.
