It’s why DX Engineering now offers its Protection Plan, which provides coverage on your purchases beyond the manufacturer’s warranty so you can have peace of mind and enjoy worry-free time on the air.*

The DX Engineering Protection Plan includes:

  • Mechanical or electrical failure coverage

  • Coverage for failures caused by breakdown or power surge

  • If your product stops working due to a covered breakdown, we’ll replace it quickly and conveniently


No deductibles or service fees

  • With this plan, there’s no additional out-of-pocket expense

*For transceivers and receivers, coverage begins after the manufacturer warranty expires. For all other products coverage begins 31 days after your product purchase date or ship date, whichever is later. The plan provides one, two, or three years of coverage depending on the length of coverage purchased.
 

**The replacement product may be in the form of merchandise credit, not to exceed the maximum coverage per claim. Replacement, merchandise credit, or settlement fulfills the contract in its entirety.

Limitations and exclusions apply. Plan is not available in CA, FL, U.S. Territories (including APO/FPO addresses), or outside of the United States. Commercial use is not covered. The protection plan provider is Federal Warranty Service Corporation in all states except in Oklahoma, where the provider is Assurant Service Protection, Inc. Frequently Asked Questions

The DX Engineering Protection Plan is additional coverage that you can purchase in one-, two-, or three-year terms. It covers mechanical and electrical failures and has no deductibles or hidden fees.

Coverage under this plan is different from your Manufacturer’s Warranty. If they overlap, the DX Engineering Protection Plan is primary for most products and offers additional benefits over the manufacturer’s warranty. Plan coverage starts 31 days after your purchase or ship date for most items, whichever one is later.

  • On some transceivers and receivers, the DX Engineering Protection Plan will start after the manufacturer’s warranty period is over. This will be noted.

Product failures from the following list are not covered. For full details and exclusions see Terms and Conditions.

  • Commercial Use
  • Accidental Damage
  • Misuse and Abuse
  • Cosmetic Damage (Scratches, etc.)
  • Loss or Theft
  • Failure Due to Acts of God (weather, fire, etc.)

How can I file a claim?

Visit mydxeprotection.com or call 1-800-317-9144 to get started.

You may be required to upload a form of identification to process your claim. Acceptable forms of ID are:

  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • State ID

When will I get a replacement?

Claims approval often takes only a few minutes. Once approved, you can expect us to process your replacement order within 3-5 days. You’ll get a confirmation email once the order is processed and another once the item ships. Delivery time is based on product and carrier availability.

  • Claims of $499 and under will be paid with a merchandise credit in the form of a gift card. 
  • Claims of $500 and over may be replaced with the same product or a merchandise credit in the form of a gift card if a replacement product isn’t available.

How do I cancel my plan?

Contact Us to cancel your plan at any time.

  • You will receive a full refund if you cancel within 30 days.
  • Your plan will be refunded on a pro-rated basis after that.

Can I buy a DX Engineering Protection Plan later?

You can only get a DX Engineering Protection Plan when you buy an item. You can’t add coverage later.
