Don’t Forget to Register for the DXE Virtual Hamfest and DX Academy, July 25

Two Chances to Win $1,000 DX Engineering Gift Cards

While we wait for the time we can gather in person for Ham-related activities, there are a few aspects of “going virtual” we can all celebrate: There’s plenty of room for everyone, parking is never an issue, and you only have to travel as far as the nearest laptop or log in by smartphone or tablet to join in.

With this in mind, the Hams at DX Engineering want amateur operators from around the world to know there’s plenty of time to register and take part in the first DXE Virtual Hamfest and DX Academy, Saturday, July 25, 2020, 9 am to 5 pm EDT (1300 to 2100 UTC). Enjoy a full day of product updates, DXing tips, expert advice on contacting satellites, ideas on engaging youth in Ham radio, and much more.

Click here to register for these free events. Once signed up, you will receive a link to access the events in real-time on the Zoom webinar platform, or you can watch live on the DX Engineering YouTube channel.

“As much as DX Engineering enjoys meeting face to face with our friends in the Ham Radio community, these virtual gatherings have reminded us how our great hobby shrinks the globe by bringing together folks who, in many cases, might not otherwise be able to attend such events,” said Tim Duffy, K3LR, CEO of DX Engineering. “We’re looking forward to a great online turnout July 25! Be sure to come ready with your questions.”

There will be two chances during the day to win $1,000 DX Engineering Gift Cards. To be eligible, you must be registered and present on Zoom during the drawings at 11:30 am and 4:45 pm.*
