Wayne’s interest in ham radio began in grade school. He was first licensed in 1960 and has held the call sign K8FF since 1976. His primary interest has been chasing DX (he has all current DXCC entities on Mixed Mode and needs only S. Shetland Islands to complete his Phone DXCC). He is currently chasing DX in FT8, contesting in CW, experimenting with antennas, and helping hams as a DX Engineering sales/technical support specialist
