Every month, DX Engineering features QSL cards from our team members’ personal collections. To highlight upcoming DXpeditions, we’ll be displaying a few of our favorite cards along with details about what it took to make these contacts. We’re excited to share some of the special cards pulled from the thousands we’ve received over the years. We look forward to seeing your cards as well!
DXers will have a chance to log Wallis and Futuna this May. From May 6-20, Nobby, G0VJG is scheduled to be active from Wallis Island, operating on 40-6M SSB and FT8.
Made up of three main volcanic islands and a number of islets, Wallis and Futuna is a French island collectivity in the South Pacific between Tuvalu to the northwest, Fiji to the southwest, Tonga to the southeast, Samoa to the east, and Tokelau to the northeast. Divided into two island groups, Wallis Islands and Futuna Islands (also known as Hoorn Islands), it has a population of about 11,500 and ranked as the 73rd most wanted DXCC entity as of April.
