The IC-R15 lets both newbies and experienced operators discover the exciting world of radio reception. With a frequency range of 108-500 MHz and 88-108 MHz, the lightweight, state-of-the-art IC-R15 lets you receive a diverse array of radio signals, including VHF aeronautical radio in AM; amateur radio on 2M and 70cm; weather, railway, marine, or regional broadcast stations in AM/FM; and wideband FM (WFM) from 76.0–500 MHz.
It features a user-friendly design; large, easy-to-read color LCD; simple graphical icon menu; intuitive controls; waterproof IPX7-certified pro-grade construction; and an included flexible rubber antenna that can be removed to allow you to connect an external antenna on a roof or balcony for extended signal reception.
Other IC-R15 features:
